Purpose
The purpose of the URL Label server is to facilitate the printing of labels for medical and business applications.

Discussion
We have been using Zebra/Eltron label printers for many years. They are a very good label printer. They print fast, the label's printing is permanent, the label is unremovable, and the printers last.

The downside of the Zebra/Eltron printers is they use proprietary printing languages so most software is not directly compatible. In addition, sharing these printers over a Windows network can be problematic.

The goal of the URL Label Server is to provide easier access, compatibility, and sharing of label printers. While this utility was written to support Zebra EPL printers, it has been designed to be upgraded to handle any type of label printer.
